Building Connections
After surviving choppy waters, I dedicated myself full time to bringing my message to conferences around the world. Whether as a keynote speaker or a workshop leader, I break through the boundaries that are limiting your team. I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisana. I left home at the age of 18 to attend college in Houston, Texas. I am a 1990 graduate of Texas Southern University. I trained five years under the tutorials of the late Dr. Thomas Freeman. Dr. Freeman was instrumental in guiding the late Barbara Jordan, the first African American elected to the Texas Senate after Reconstruction and the first Southern African-American woman elected to the United States House of Representatives. The team went on to become known as The International Award-winning Debate Team. I am proud to have competed with such greatness.
